Description:

Environmental protection and regulations. Monitoring permanent pollution sources. Pollution as result of hazards. Choice of measuring site: air, water, soil. Measurement parameters: gas composition and particles, concentration of components dissolved in water and unspecific parameters, structure and characteristics of soil, microbiological sizes, noise, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation. Sensors and transducers. Instrumentation: hand-held, for continuous monitoring, laboratory. Electrochemical, analytical, optical and microbiological methods.
