Description:

Baseband spectrum spreading, spread-spectrum characteristics, interference and jamming margin. Processing gain, direct-sequence spread-spectrum systems (DSSS). Characteristics and generation of PN sequences. Despreading, matched filters, noncoherent systems. Narowband jamming. Code synchronization problems, acquisition of sequences and code tracking. Code-Division Multiple Access. Spreading sequences for DS/CDMA. Sequences with small cross-correlations. Rake receiver. Slow and fast frequency hopping systems. Detection of Direct-Sequence and Frequency-Hopping signals.
